Monkeynut Audiobooks & Sound is delighted to be working with with JUST ONE Tree - so that for every project you do with us, we will donate funds to this project and 5 trees are planted! We have chosen JUST ONE Tree because we believe in their 3 core pillars: restoration on land, restoration in the oceans and bringing environmental education into the classrooms. So by working with Monkeynut, you will be doing a lot more than simply planting a tree!
What do JUST ONE Tree do?
JUST ONE Tree is a non-profit organisation - for every project completed with Monkeynut, 5 trees will be planted. However, there’s a lot more to it than just planting a tree! The non-profit organisation funds specifically selected reforestation efforts, hiring and training local members of the community to plant and care for the trees. Trees are planted in areas severely affected by deforestation to maximise the effect on reducing global warming. In the process they help to provide agricultural education and sustainable incomes to local communities.
JUST ONE Tree strengthens communities, provides education and empowers individuals. They also focus on ocean restoration, helping to reduce marine loss of life and acidification through kelp reforestation.

Monkeynut is passionate about gender equality
In certain areas affected by deforestation, women still struggle to find respect and work. At Monkeynut, we are passionate about gender equality. We are thrilled to support JUST ONE Tree’s projects in Nepal and Madagascar, employing vastly more women than men and promoting more women to management positions.
Providing women with training, skills and leadership knowledge can help elevate a woman’s position in her community and beyond, and as such, this cause is one we are proud to help fund.
Monkeynut: helping communities
The money donated by Monkeynut will go a long way and will reach a lot further than the planting of a tree itself. It is estimated that 1.6 billion people earn their living from working with trees: trees provide timber for construction, fuel and enrichment for farming. By planting trees, we can help to empower and employ local communities and individuals.
We are excited to be donating to such a fantastic project, and to help with so many essential causes. Climate change affects us all. Trees are an effective way to remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. JUST ONE Tree makes it easy for us all to do exactly that. For every project completed with Monkeynut, we plant 5 trees with JUST ONE Tree.
